ROUGH WALK THROUGH ROOI FLUIT

Next Sunday’s (13th Dec) special walk will be a very DIFFERENT route to Daimari than 3 weeks ago: through the really rough Rooi Fluit.

The hike goes from the Visitor Center to “Cero Arikok” and then to Shete and from Shete we will walk through ROOI FLUIT, which you have to clamber every now and then. Then to Moro and along the wild north coast to Daimari and the Daimari Ranch. This Rough Walk is varied and you have to climb a little, but with a good shape is not a problem. You will be brought back by car to the Visitor Center.

On Sunday 13th of December 2015 (07:30am, pay your entrance fee after the walk!), this special and beautiful 2-hour rough walk will be guided by a senior ranger. This Rough Walk can be done from young to old, but you need to have a good condition and good shoes due to the 2 hour duration of the hike. The hike is free but you will have to pay the conservation fee for a day pass (11 $ for tourists; 5 Afl for locals) or have a multi-entree pass or year-pass. The participation is limited to about 25 persons, so register as soon as possible.

Take sufficient water, good shoes and sunblock & anti-mosquito with you.

The natural walk starts at the Visitor Centre where we come together at half past seven, 07:30 AM. It is an early rise but worth it. You will start your walk at the Visitors Center. At the end at Daimari Ranch we will be transported back to the Visitor Center. The walk will be guided by a park ranger.
