Rough Walk 3h from Fontein to Savaneta

On Sunday 30th of August 2015 (07:00am), NP Arikok organizes a special hike from the east to the west coast: FROM FONTEIN TO SAVANETA. [PS This is the same hike as Sunday 16th August, which was sold out in one day.]

Beautiful 3-hour rough walk guided by Rangers from the Plantage Fontein (Fontain) through Rooi Barbacoa, looking down on Rooi Taki and then passing the socalled “Isla” all the way down to Savaneta.

This Rough Walk is not difficult but rather long and therefore tough.

The hike is free but you will have to pay the conservation fee for a day pass (11 $ for tourists; 5 Afl for locals) at the end of the hike.

The participation is again limited to 25 persons, so register as soon as possible.

Sign up at info@arubanationalpark.org and mention the walk: “Rough walk to Savaneta” and the number of persons you are coming with. You can also use the contact form of the website www.arubanationalpark.org .

Take REALLY sufficient water, good shoes and sunblock & anti-mosquito with you.

The natural walk starts at the Visitor Centre where we come together at seven 07:00 AM. It is an early rise but really worth it.

From there we will be transported to the old Plantage Fontein, where we will start our walk. From Savaneta you will be brought back to the Visitors Center.

The walk will be guided by a senior park ranger. The address is San Fuego 70, but you can ask or you can follow signs from Santa Cruz. If you can find it, call: 585 1234.

Please use the CONTACT form to register by writing/informing us:
