New Management Team for Parke Nacional Arikok

ORANJESTAD – Arikok National Park was officially established in 2000 and currently has a total of 55 employees and amongst them a complete management team readily and willingly to continue all efforts for nature conservation and education. Ms. Natasha Silva – General Manager, has been leading the park since November of 2016 and is excited to finally have a complete team bringing Arikok National Park the experience and knowledge to continue providing all of the visitors an experience they won’t forget.

The new management team consists of Avonda Powell – Human Resource Manager, Carl Quant – Marketing & Communications Manager, Sietske van der Wal – Conservation Education Manager, Jan Veneman – Project Manager, Giancarlo Nunes – Research & Conservation Manager and Frank Judell – Finance Manager.

Arikok National Park is a 34 square kilometers (7907 acres) of natural area, located at the north-eastern part of Aruba which contains examples of most of the island’s flora and fauna against a backdrop of great geological complexity. With the recent addition of the Spanish Lagoon we are proud to state that approximately 18% of the total land area of Aruba is designated as a National Park. It is our main priority to protect the flora, fauna, geology and historical heritage present within our National Park.
